Robert Walter LeBaron est né en 1927 et est le fils d'Arthur LeBaron et Leona Cora Evans.
Il est le frère de Marjorie (1926), B. Jean (1931), Joyce (1935) & Virginia (1936). en 1930, la famille LeBaron vie au 1027 ½ North Leonard à Grand-Rapids, Arthur est le seul revenue de la famille, il travail dans un garage. En 1940, la famille à changée de domicile et vie au 1 116 Garfield Street à Grand-Rapids. Arthur travail dans une usine d'automobile. Robert part étudier au Grand-Rapids High School, après la remise de son diplôme, il travail au "Rose Patch & Label Co." En Février 1945, il est enrôler dans l'Armée sous le matricule #3147098. Il sera assigné sur l'U.S.S Indianapolis le 12 Mai 1945. Il disparait dans l'Océan lors du drame. Son nom est inscrit sur la liste des disparus au Manila American Cemetery à Manille. |
