Warren est né le 24 Janvier 1916 en Pennsylvanie, il est le fils de Stanley Bevan et de Catherine Powell.
En 1920, Walter Powell, le frère de Catherine vit avec la famille à Grand Avenue à Détroit. Walter est un vétéran de la 1e guerre mondiale, il est monté sur Détroit pour travailler dans les usines Ford, mais redescendra quelque temps après en Pennsylvanie pour s’engager dans la Police. En 1930, la famille Bevan vie dans un appartement de LaSalle Institution Building à LaSalle Boulevard à Détroit. En 1932, la famille habite Dearborn (Détroit – Michigan). Le 6 Février 1934, Warren s’engage dans l’US Navy. En 1937, il sert sur l’U.S.S Tuscaloosa (CA-37) à Honolulu. Après son service, il rejoint le foyer familial et travail pour les usines Ford à raison de 40h/semaine. Le 19 Juillet 1944, il se réengage dans l’U.S Navy. Il est libéré du service actif le 13 Mai 1946. Mais il reçoit le 5 Juin 1946 un télégraphe du War Department indiquant que le souvenir de guerre qui lui avait été confiqué ne lui sera pas rendu. Aucune indication ne permet de savoir de quel objet il s’agit. Durant cette année, il vie sur Mansfiel Avenue à Détroit. Le 7 Janvier 1975, il décède à Sacramento en Californie, il était âgé de 58 ans. Sa veuve, Dorie, ira s’installer à Grand Rapids (Michigan). |

Warren was born in January 24th, 1916 in Wilkies Barre (Pennsylvania), he is the son of Stanley Bevan and Catherine Powell.
In 1920, Walter Powell, the brother of Catherine, lives with the family at Grand Avenue in Detroit. Walter is a veteran of the first world war, and came to Detroit to work in the Ford factories, but returned some time later to Pennsylvania to join the police. In 1930, the Bevan family live in an apartment in LaSalle Institution Building on LaSalle Boulevard - Detroit. In 1932, the family lives in Dearborn (Detroit - Michigan). February 6th, 1934, Warren joined the US Navy. In 1937, he serves on the U.S.S Tuscaloosa (CA-37) in Honolulu. After his service, he joined the familial home and worked for the Ford factory at a rate of 40 hours / week. July 19th, 1944, he re-enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was released from active service on May 13th, 1946. But on June 5th, 1946 he received a telegraph from the War Department indicating that the souvenir of war that had been confiscated will not be returned. There is no indication about what kind of object it is. During that year, he lived on Mansfiel Avenue in Detroit. January 7th, 1975, he died in Sacramento, California, he was 58 years old. His widow, Dorie, will move to Grand Rapids (Michigan). |
